Hi Lisa Just writing to say thanks again for coming back to Adelaide and teaching the crystallization class for us at Victor Harbor. My head is now reeling with ideas that I can hardly wait to express when completing my quilt. The feedback from my classmate friends has been likewise positive. This is the fourth class I have taken of yours and I continue to be inspired. Your sense of fun is infectious and your creative thinking impressive. That first "Fabrications" class I took a couple of years back was my most liberating creative experience to date. I was rapidly losing interest in quilting because I always felt disappointed by the fabric choices, the fussy cutting and the endless seams and corners that did not quite meet [on my quilt and in my expectations.] Your liberating approach to freeform design and cutting and rearranging and discovering new ways is something that has inspired me to a whole new range of textile and mixed media pursuits. And I am building a stash of completed art quilts that I love in all their imperfect glory! I have also been happily converted by the "Zen" practice that is beading -I love it so much it's sometimes hard to know when to stop. So now I feel the sky is the limit and that I have more ideas than time to realize them. My love of textiles has been re ignited and I have felt confident enough to try some designs of my own. -Carolyn, Adelaide

Just a note to say Thank you, thank you, thank you, I so enjoyed that workshop. My little brain is abuzzing, my craving for something new is satisfied ( for now) and you are a brilliant teacher. Such patience. Can't wait to show you what I have done with your passing on of ideas and knowledge, hope you approve! Also loved the beading lesson, how cool was that!! -Chris J
